Office & Drop-In Support: Be a friendly voice on the telephone to give information, referrals and support. Welcome women who drop in at the LRC. Between personal contacts, you can help with clerical and housekeeping tasks.  All skill levels needed.

LRC News Committee: Collaborate with women who put out the monthly LRC News. We reach about 10,000 readers each month. This is a fabulous opportunity if you are in writing a monthly feature article, editing news and wire releases, and reporting on or photographing women's cultural and political events. You can be involved in selecting articles, editing, proofreading, interviewing, and more.
LRC News Mailing & Distribution: Want to make sure the LRC News gets mailed to 1500 subscribers and thousands of other readers?  We need you to help package, mail and distribute the paper.  Take a delivery route in neighborhoods throughout the Puget Sound area.  It's only a couple hours per month and it's a great way to get out to the places where the women are.

LRC Cabarets and Forums:   Be a performer.  Share your talent in the LRC's Third Saturday Cabaret, a showcase for the performing arts. On the other side of the stage, join the Production Team that plans these events. Night of the show helpers do set-up, admission, refreshments and strike down after the show.  The Productions Team also coordinates and presents other special events such as readings, seminars, lectures and panel discussions.
LRC Scholarship Committee: Let women know that the LRC gives a scholarship every year, through the Pride Foundation.   Help screen and interview applicants, and participate in the awards ceremony for scholarship recipients.   March and April are the months of most intensive activity for this group.

LRC Board & Board Committees: The LRC has a working board and several board committees.  The women represent the Members and provide leadership in matters such as Finance, Personnel, Programs, Fundraising and Policy-making. Board members are elected annually the members. Board committees welcome the participation of any member of the LRC. We operate and govern outselves through the work of volunteers.  Find a leadership role that fits your talents!

LRC Website: The LRC web site receives over 1500 monthly visits.  Help keep the calendar of events, community and business & professional pages up to date. Bring us your design talents and ideas for new information.

LRC Auction: The annual LRC auction is not only a major social event for Puget Sound area lesbian, bisexual and transgender women, it also is a significant source of LRC revenue.  Like most LRC activities, it is run by volunteers.  Volunteers are supported by the professional services of Kip Toner Benefit Auctions. Learn to ask anyone for anything; help turn out hundreds of women; create a memorable women's environment through decorations; attend and help us with dozens of specific tasks the day of the event; attend to the myriad of follow-up details after the event. July through December are the most intensive months.
